Any clue why we moved the two rows of vertices on both sides of the sheet object just crossing the two opposite edges of the table's top in Maya? I will explain it to you. If you look at the previous image (above), you can see that from the two rows of vertices, one row lies just above the table's edge. So if you pull the other row of vertices (along the edge of the sheet) down, it will stay falling down from the table's edge naturally. Got it?
Here goes what you need to do. Select the row of vertices at the edge of the table sheet and move it down in Maya. Also move it inwards (Z axis) so that it falls vertically down as shown in the image. |
