We have seen that the history of the table's leg helped us manipulate it's basic construction time parameters even after already making other modifications to the object. But the history in Maya causes a performance issue in your scene if you maintain the history of all the objects and if your scene is a pretty complex one. In our current scene, it won't create any issue. But still, I will show you how to clear the history in Maya.
Select the object, whose history you want to delete (Our table's leg). Go to the main menu and choose Edit > Delete By Type > History. That's it. If you look into the channel box now, you will not find a trace of our selected object's construction history. It's gone. |
