Now select the vertices at the base of the ear and move it into the inside of the head, if there is gap between the surfaces of the ear and head.

With the Move tool active and the ear selected, go to the Hierarchy panel, and click on the Affect Pivot Only button. The Move icon will change to the pivot mode. Move the pivot to the center of the head in the front view, as shown in the figure. Turn off the Affect Pivot only button in 3D Studio MAX ( 3ds max ). |

Now with the ear model selected, click on the Mirror tool from the main tool bar in 3D Studio MAX ( 3ds max ). From the mirror options dialog, choose Copy as the mode of clone. Choose Y as the axis for mirroring (might vary with the viewport). The ear will get mirrored around the pivot point, that we positioned at the center of the head.
Now go to the Create Panel and choose Compound Objects. Select the female's body mesh and click on boolean. Select the mode of boolean operation as Union and click on Pick operand B. Now click on one of the ears. They will get combined. Now again click on the Boolean button, and follow the same steps and pick the other ear to combine it with the compound object. Now go to the modify panel and collapse everything into a mesh. (Right click in the modifier stack, choose Convert to Editable Mesh) in 3D Studio MAX ( 3ds max ).
