The
rotate manipulator shows as three circles
covering the object's center in red,
blue and green colours. In the above
figure, the circle along which we are
rotating appears yellow instead of green,
because its the currently selected direction.
Moving the mouse over the circle along
which we want our object to rotate,
highlights the circle with yellow colour.
Move the mouse over the highlighted
circle in the figure, in your perspective
view and click-drag the mouse in the
direction shown by the big yellow arrow
in the right figure. When you start
dragging, the teapot starts rotating.
A display of the angle of rotation in
the format X,Y,Z shows up in the region
shown by the 'green rectangle' in the
figure above. This gives you a precise
idea about the angle of rotation in
3D Studio MAX ( 3ds max ). |
